It's beginning to look a whole lot like Christmas and that means to make sure we mind our manners and embrace the season the right way, and oh yeah! have a little help.

Chanda Bell is the co-author of The Elf on The Shelf and she gives us the full scoop on how to be on the lookout for all the antics and merriment coming our way.

Chanda gives us the inside scoop on how to welcome your very own Scout Elf into your home.

Scout Elf do’s and dont’s
● Please don’t touch the Scout Elves or they will lose their Christmas magic!
● Scout Elves can’t speak (they only talk at the North Pole).
● Scout Elves are not mischievous or naughty but are very playful and nice.
● Scout Elves move by flying to the North Pole and back each night.
● Families don’t buy Scout Elves, they adopt them.

The one question we hear the most regarding our adopted Elves.
● The Scout Elves are magical beings from the North Pole, as is Santa, they do not get human sicknesses and do not need to quarantine. Statement From Santa re: Pandemic
“All Scout Elves are 100% healthy and remain well at the North Pole. They are excited to return to the human world for a season of excitement and giggles. Since Scout Elves are magical beings from the North Pole, they do not get human sicknesses and do not need to quarantine!”
